I have pulled out my art paper and pencils and really want to find time to draw. Literally the last art of any kind I have done is when Mr. M. was in the hospital to remove his kidney. That was last October. It's time to get back into it. I've sketched some faces and hopefully will have them to show next week.
This week I have some AI.
Then I switched to some cyborg ladies.
I started this post on Wednesday. Today, Thursday, I have no cell service. When I check for outages on my PC. It reads, "No outages in my area" Uhhhh wrong. So we have been without a phone for a few hours now. Have I told you lately how much I hate the phone? LOL

I hope you can get back to making some art real soon, Nicole. I always find it very relaxing, but I also do it not often enough. It seems there is always something to do.
40mh winds is wild - I noticed that it has become much windier over the past few years in our area. I don't like it at all, especially when it is dry and hot.
good luck with the art projects. It must be fun to create with your hands, not with a computer.
The Cyborg women don't look very happy, but I guess that's understandable. Can't be easy being part human, part machine.

For me, writing and photography are a refuge in any difficulty.

Regarding your garden, the 40mph winds sound quite challenging. It's disheartening to hear that the poly has been torn to shreds this year. I hope the damage is manageable and that your garden continues to thrive despite the weather's best efforts.

The winds are horrible out there. This year we've had more than usual and it's been rainy. Like you I hope to resume pencil sketching faces soon. I haven't done much new art for a long time and what I've mostly done is digital work. I hope your cell service returns soon. Technology can be such a headache at times. we wrote to the elec co (back in Maryland) saying the power went out weekly. They replied no it doesn't, if it's not out over 15 min we don't count it.
