Friday Face OFF 10/29/23

 

 Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of woodwork in your house. Human, animal, alien, or monster. Any kind of face.

I have really been trying to concentrate on some art. I have never had this problem before, however, with what is going on in my life I understand why it is happening. I can usually get absorbed in art and right now I can't. Everything seems off for me.

This is what I tried to draw this week. Just couldn't bring it together properly.

My daughter and SIL always send us a package for Christmas. They told me I had a big surprise. Well I did!

Your have to understand that my SIL is the master at decorating the outside of the house for Halloween and Christmas. In fact the neighbors have been trying to out do him the last few years. One of the items he got for Halloween is the amazing wolf mask. He made sure to get 2 of them so he could send one to me. I am thrilled. The mask fits me perfectly and the mouth moves with ease.

I will be corpsing this and adding some dead hair. LOL

How flippen cool is this guy?

T Stands for food

 Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all well fed, had fun today and there was lots of love in your homes.

Even though it is just me and Mr. M. we had all of the above.

As you know Mr. M. has been doing all of the cooking since I have been unable.

I can't be more proud of him. He hates cooking. So for him to make such great meals is a big deal. 

I am not a fan of ham but Mr. M. found this beauty on sale for $6.00. It is a 7.5lb ham. Here it is out of the oven.

He said he remembered his mom putting cloves all over the ham and then he topped it with Mandarin Oranges and added the juice to the pan. I think it turned out great!

Tonight we had. Way too much food but it was all good.

Sweet Potato, String Beans, Ham and Mac n cheese.	Mr.M. Loves Ambrosia Salad so I told him how to make it.
He even made a few Deviled Eggs.	One night last week Mr. M. made waffles. Melted butter and hot syrup.
Then one night to my complete surprise, because he didn't ask for help. He went through my recipes and made sloppy joes and onions rings. All homemade. Sour cream on the side.	Can't get a burger in my town that comes close to Mr. M's. Cooked on the outside grill and done up right.
My Son and DIL always send something like this among other things.	Inside the boxes.
The apples are sweet and the pears just ripe.	This is the best Carmel corn I have ever eaten.
Shaped like Christmas ornament texture of candy corn with great flavor.	These are chocolate covered blueberries. OMG good.

A package from my Daughter and SIL got caught up in Portland and should be here tomorrow.
